How do I create a note?

Tap the + button to create a note. It's added to whichever bubble you currently have open, so open a bubble first if you want the note filed there. Start typing, add tags if you like, and your changes save automatically — there's no save button to hunt for. The same button also creates bubbles: tap it for a note, hold it to create a bubble.

How do bubbles work?

Bubbles are how Nubble organizes your thinking. Each bubble is a cluster of related notes, and bubbles can be nested inside other bubbles, so a broad topic can branch into narrower ones as your thoughts develop.

Tap a bubble to dive into it and see what's inside. Hold and drag to rearrange bubbles, or hold still for a moment to open a menu where you can rename, recolor, lock, or delete it. A bubble's contents can also be switched between free arrangement and sorted order. A note can belong to more than one bubble, and you can also connect notes to each other to show how ideas relate.

How do I sign in and sync my notes?

Sign in with Google from the sign-in screen. Once you're signed in, your notes, bubbles, and tags sync automatically across every device you use with that account, including changes you made while offline.

You can also continue as a guest. Guest notes stay on your device only and are never uploaded — which also means they don't sync and aren't recoverable if you clear your browser data. If you have notes on the device when you sign in, Nubble asks what to do with them: merge them into your account, import them as a separate project, discard them, or stay signed out.

How do I delete a note?

Open the note and tap the trash icon, or use the Delete option on the note card itself. You'll be asked to confirm, since deleting a note is permanent and can't be undone. To delete your entire account and everything in it, open Settings and choose Delete Account. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
